but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled,

The month of March is Ushers, Nurses, Hospitality and Parking Ministry Month. These ministries are a vital part of our Church Family. They represent the Church in a very visible way. Each Ministry help set the tone in preparation for the worship service, as well as assist
with the smooth and orderly operation within the service, thus heightening the mood to receive God’s Word.

They have an opportunity to serve God by serving His people, and this is a marvelous way to actively and faithfully participate in the functioning of the Holy Family. These Ministries provides a wonderful way for one to begin to grow and to continue to serve in a very important role for the Church.

Their roles are frequently underestimated for its importance. Good servants in these ministries are “people-persons” who make people coming into The Church Family feel welcome and appreciated. In doings they contribute greatly to making everyone’s church experience a positive one. We Thank GOD For The Ushers, Greeters, Nurses And Parking Attendance Of Saint Mark!

CELEBRATING THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS
OUR LORD AND SAVIOR

MARCH 31, 2024

The tomb is empty! He is no longer there! He is risen!
We have an opportunity to live a life of celebration
because of our God. He sent His only son to be that
one-time sacrifice for all of us. We can now live a life of
authority over the devil and his schemes. We can now be
the light in a world of darkness and chaos. What a life of
privilege and blessing!
The Bible tells us that Christ is now seated on the righthand side of God,
making intercession for you and me.
He’s waiting for that day to return and take us back with
Him – oh, what a wonderful celebration that would be!
In John 20 we read how Mary Magdalene cried when she
saw the tomb empty, thinking it was a trick the authorities had conspired
to trick believers. But alas, it was our
redemption. It was our celebration. He triumphed over
evil. Glory to God!

Reasons to celebrate Easter:
1.     Triumphantly, Jesus has risen from the dead. Therefore, this gives us hope of being in paradise with Him one day (Luke 24:4-7).

2.   We serve a risen Savior, so let us rejoice and worship Him in Spirit and in truth. As the song writer wrote, “Celebrate Jesus, celebrate. He is risen, He is risen And He reigns forevermore.

He is risen; He is risen, Come and celebrate, the resurrection
of our Lord” (Matthew: 28:9-10).

3. Celebrate, for our Savior Jesus Christ has ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for all of us (Mark 16:19-20).

Words of Inspiration

Feast of Hope

With the state of today’s world, it would be easy to give up hope, but as the year draws to a close, the blessed Feast of Christ comes to remind us that Jesus came to this world to save sinners.

Regardless of the despondency and despair surrounding us, a beacon of love is shining — the Light of the Word — who invites us to leave the darkness behind, put our hope in Him and face the future with expectation and joy.

Advent should remind us time and again that, even if we suffer, Christ is still our hope for the future; as He has been for His children through the ages.
Scripture

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

I Peter 3:15
Prayer

Lord Jesus of Bethlehem, thank You that you came to place hope in our hearts and our lives.  Amen
